Description
Corewell Health in Southwest Michigan is seeking a Full-Time, Board Certified or Board Eligible, Addiction Medicine Physician or Addiction Psychiatrist. 2 years of experience preferred.
Corewell Health's Centers for Recovery and Healing in Niles, MI and Benton Harbor, MI, provide compassionate care for patients impacted by substance use and alcohol disorders with empathy, support, treatment and understanding.
Position Highlights:
Outpatient Practice with opportunity for future expansion to inpatient coverage

- Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.
- Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner.
- Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they relate to medical practice and quality patient care.
- Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.
- Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.
- Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.
- Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.
