The Opportunity
Northland Health Centers is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a smooth, high-quality patient experience in an onsite clinic setting. This role exists to keep patient care moving efficiently by partnering closely with providers and the front office.
Key responsibilities include assisting providers during patient care and examinations, coordinating scheduling, supporting referrals and appointments, completing related reception/office tasks, and ordering supplies as needed.
Required qualifications/skills:
- Current LPN licensure from the North Dakota Board of Nursing
- Strong organization, accuracy in documentation, and timely follow-through
- Adaptability, problem-solving, and a compassionate approach to care

A Typical Shift
Your day as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is steady and patient-focused, with frequent moments of coordination and connection. You’ll move between patient interactions and behind-the-scenes updates, keeping information current and priorities clear. Communication is constant—checking in with providers, answering patient questions, and ensuring handoffs are understood. You’ll rely on strong organization to keep the clinic rhythm on track, and attention to detail to make sure notes, forms, and follow-ups are accurate. When plans change—as they often do—you’ll pivot calmly, solve problems in real time, and keep patients feeling supported and respected.
Schedule: Monday 8 am–6 pm; Tuesday–Thursday 8 am–5 pm; Friday 8 am–3:30 pm.
