Sheetmetal Technician

Skilled Trades Partners is currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker for an installation project in Hyannis, MA. This position will focus on commercial ductwork installation, diffusers, and related sheet metal work. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing HVAC duct systems and be able to work independently while maintaining quality and efficiency on the job site.

Responsibilities:

• Install commercial HVAC ductwork, fittings, transitions, and diffusers
• Measure, layout, cut, and assemble sheet metal components
• Hang and support duct systems according to project specifications
• Perform installations using standard sheet metal tools and equipment
• Read and interpret basic drawings, layouts, and job specifications
• Ensure proper alignment, fit, and quality of completed work
• Work safely and efficiently alongside HVAC installers and other trades

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Worker preferred
• Strong knowledge of ductwork installation and HVAC systems
• Ability to independently install duct, fittings, and diffusers
• Comfortable working from plans and field measurements
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites on time
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Requirements:

• No license required but those with one are strongly encouraged to apply
• OSHA 10 preferred but not required
• Hand tools required
