Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with an International Freight Forwarding Company in their search for a General Manager based in Thailand.
Salary Range: ฿80,000 - ฿160,000
Work Setup: Onsite
Shift Schedule: Day Shift
Location: Thailand
Your Responsibilities:
1. Company Setup: Lead full setup of Thailand branch, including team building, talent development, and target management.
2. Business Operations: Manage regional market development, client relationship maintenance, and shipping line/agent channel development.
3. Business Analysis: Collect and analyze industry and market intelligence to support corporate strategy and process optimization.
4. Performance Management: Submit regular operational reports to headquarters and achieve assigned performance targets.
5. Team Leadership: Evaluate employee performance, propose personnel appointments/dismissals, implement corporate culture, and complete ad-hoc assignments.
What we're looking for:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, International Trade, or related field.
2. Experience: ≥5 years in international freight forwarding, trade logistics, shipping, port, or air freight industry.
3. Core Resources: Own local customs clearance and last-mile delivery resources in Thailand.
4. Language: Fluent in Chinese and English; Thai is a strong plus.
5. Core Competencies: Strong business management, leadership, communication, and business development skills.
