We are seeking casual Food Services Assistants to join our Catering (Cafe) team in Ballarat. Enjoy flexible working arrangements with rotational shifts available, providing the opportunity to balance work with your lifestyle.
In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services to patients, visitors, and caregivers within the hospital. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, food and drink preparation and service, maintaining clean and hygienic café and dining areas, and assisting with the efficient day-to-day operation of the café. The Position
Merchandising food and beverage prior to service hours
Clearing and cleaning of all areas associated with the Café.
Stock rotation and food storage.
Adheres to Infection Management Manual Policy and Procedures.
Maintain Universal Blood and Body Substances (BABS) Precautions at all times
Actively participates in the implementation of a safe food environment.
Carries out safe food handling techniques in relation to purchasing, receiving, storage, preparation and delivery.
Successful applicants will have demonstrated experience working in a customer service environment, excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and able to work effectively with a team. In addition, we are looking for a someone with barista experience who has worked in a cafe or similar workplace.

We can offer you
Hourly rate: $34.40 to $35.81 (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% Superannuation
Casual position | 7-day roster | weekend shifts
