About the role:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for operating, correctly and properly, the flatwork ironers, sheet spreader and other miscellaneous equipment as in the Laundry Department. Also maintain hotel linen in a good condition and enough par stock.

What you will do

• Operate, wax and clean the ironer, feed sheets, table linen napkins, pillow cases and huck towels in the ironer

• Sort the food and beverage linen and rooms’ linen, fold towels, rugs and hang robes

• Shake sheets, table linens and pillow cases and keep stain or torn separate from other loads.

• Report any deficiencies or equipment malfunctions immediately to manager

• Familiar with linen sizes and classifications

• Account daily for all “outgoing” and “incoming linens”

What you bring:

• At least one year experience working in hotel housekeeping

• Strong organization skills and an eye for attention to detail  

• Strong communication skills
