Description
Sales at Swiftly
The Swiftly Sales team works with transit agencies, municipal operators, and other local government entities to determine how Swiftly can best solve their unique challenges. The team cares deeply about the problem we're solving, so we empathize with and listen to our customers to build partnerships and deepen our value proposition. Our consultative approach to proving the value of Swiftly is structured around constant listening and deep industry knowledge. We are a nimble, close-knit team that thrives on collaboration and creativity to work within constraints. Lastly, while we love to win, we believe that the best wins, at a broad level, come from supporting our colleagues and matching the right Swiftly solutions with the right customers for the best long-term outcomes.
The Solutions Engineer team at Swiftly works with Account Executives and Account Managers to ensure prospective customers can demonstrate immense value and impact from Swiftly's tools. We are responsible for being the transit domain and product experts on the Swiftly side, but also the voice of the prospective customer. For large and mid-sized transit agencies, we work with agency staff to build a qualitative and quantitative understanding of how Swiftly will be a worthwhile investment.
We enjoy collaborating with agency staff from all departments, including planning, scheduling, operations, customer service, safety, and executive teams. Whether it's a one-on-one conversation or a presentation for 50 staff, Solutions Engineers help ensure that our prospective customers become our future customers.
The Role
Swiftly now has contracts with over 200 transit agencies, and an increasing number of these agencies are mid-sized and large. Our goal is to grow that number, and Solutions Engineers play a critical role by balancing agency knowledge with a strong desire to help our prospective customers. We are looking for junior to mid-level Solutions Engineers.

- Revenue growth. Drive revenue growth by developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, building strong business cases, and providing technical expertise to support the sales process. You'll work closely with Sales and Product to ensure customers receive the best possible solutions to their needs.
- Onsite workshops. Organize and run 2 to 3-day onsite workshops, training agency staff and helping them see Swiftly's value for mid-sized and large agencies.
- Pilot programs. Run pilot periods, including limited-time free agency access to Swiftly, with the goal of deriving quantitative savings and results to inform a strong business case for mid-sized and large agencies.
