What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the commercial strategy for our property. In this key leadership role, you will shape and execute innovative sales and marketing initiatives, leverage digital and data-driven strategies, and inspire a high-performing sales team. Your leadership will directly impact revenue growth, market positioning, and guest engagement while upholding the service excellence and brand standards that define Loews Hotels.

What You’ll Do:
Sales & Marketing Strategy
Develop and execute a comprehensive annual strategic business and marketing plan aligned with local market dynamics and hotel objectives
Design and implement targeted promotions, packages, and advertising campaigns that enhance guest engagement and drive revenue growth
Maintain accurate sales forecasts across all segments, proactively identifying opportunities for performance improvement and market expansion
Revenue Optimization & Market Partnerships
Collaborate closely with the Director of Revenue Management to develop pricing strategies that maximize RevPAR and overall profitability
Establish and maintain strong relationships with Convention & Visitors Bureaus and key industry partners to support business development efforts
Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals while supporting individual growth and career development
Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment focused on accountability, excellence, and results
Collaboration & Brand Support
Partner with Public Relations and Area Marketing teams to deliver integrated sales and marketing initiatives that support brand visibility and results
Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall hotel and commercial objectives
Other Responsibilities
Regular attendance in conformance with standards
May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications Include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent professional experience required
Master’s degree in Hospitality Management or an MBA preferred, but not required
Proven experience as a Hotel Sales Director or in a comparable senior sales leadership role, with approximately 10 years of sales management experience
Strong knowledge of hotel operations, sales strategies, digital marketing, and revenue management principles, supported by multiple years in the hospitality industry
Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, customer insights, and performance data to inform strategic decisions
Established success in negotiation and client relationship management, with the ability to build and sustain long-term partnerships
Regular travel required for client meetings, market sales activity, and industry events
Experience using hotel management systems (e.g., OPERA)
Proficiency with sales and CRM platforms such as Delphi, Salesforce, or similar systems
Working knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO, PPC)
Experience with revenue management systems such as IDeaS or Duetto
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds as needed for events or presentations
Willingness to travel up to approximately 50% of the time
Certified Hospitality Sales Professional (CHSP) or Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) certification is beneficial but not required
