Job Description
As a Security Guard Armed Field Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity records, while adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
