The Executive Vice Presidents serving as Consulting Practice Leads are members of the executive team and are principals in the company’s consulting practice group.
Each Consulting Practice Leader is responsible for a portfolio of customer accounts – responsible for both the success management of client engagements and for increasing the business with those clients. The role is equal parts client engagement management and strategic business development.
From a management perspective, the Consulting Practice Lead is the captain of each client’s consulting team, guiding the strategic solutions developed to contribute to client success.
Responsibilities of the position include:
A. Serves as the Executive Project Lead of each assigned client’s consulting team, responsible for leading an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, with accuracy and efficiency.
B. Develops recommendations and solutions for client organizations. Drafts proposals and implementation schedules for long-range plans and proposals. Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
C. Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project. Prepares and implements an agreed budget based on estimates and client needs.
D. Conducts risk assessments and reports identified risks to management. Provides recommendations for mitigation of risk, including termination of the project if appropriate.
F. Monitors project progress, drafts and distributes progress reports, and updates leadership and stakeholders on project progress.
G. Addresses client and project team inquiries, concerns and complaints promptly. Acts as a liaison between the company, the client(s), and other vendors when appropriate.

Skills, experience, and education required:
A. Management expertise (marketing, strategic planning, finance, operations, statistical analysis, human resource management, public program management, information technology, etc.) and/or experience in management in health and human services fields.
B. Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems, consistent with a deep understanding of the strategic direction of the business.
C. Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization and clearly and concisely express opinions, conclusions, and recommendations.
D. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and willingness to travel domestically.
E. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
F. Excellent organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills.
G. Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; Proficiency using project management and/or client management software with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.
H. Strong level of attention to detail in the accuracy, grammar, formatting, and other elements of successful client deliverables and client presentations.
I. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
J. Ability to travel overnight, unattended throughout the continental United States.
K. Ability to lift 35 pounds.
L. Visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
M. Ability to drive an automobile and must have a valid driver's license.
N. Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time, as well as bending and lifting from a sitting or standing position.
O. Ability to use a personal credit card for occasional purchases on behalf of the organization.
