Anesthesia Tech- CVOR

Overview

Assists anesthesia providers and other health care members in providing care to the patient undergoing an operative invasive procedure. Prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesia services. Maintains inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies. Job responsibilities include specific anesthesia and equipment related comprehensive care to the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 3 years experience as an Anesthesia Tech Or Anesthesia Tech Certification Required or
• Certified anesthesia technician (Cer.A.T.) or equivalent certification Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support American Heart Association BLS Certification Required
• Cer.A.T. - Certified Anesthesia Technician Preferred
