Data Intelligence Specialist

Within our Global Markets team, the Global Trade Intelligence (GTI) team plays an important role in protecting the value and integrity of our portfolio around the world.

As Intelligence Specialist, you will turn complex data into meaningful insights that help our teams make better-informed decisions.

With a particular focus on Grey Market Activity (GMA), you will lead the global deployment of intelligence and traceability tools, partner with our Market Companies to better understand product diversion flows, and identify actionable insights to support the business.

This is a role for someone who enjoys connecting the dots: between data and business realities, between global and local teams, and between insights and action.

Your key missions

Turn data into actionable intelligence

• Produce and continuously enhance our monthly GMA analysis, reporting and dashboards, automating processes wherever relevant.
• Identify trends, patterns and emerging risks within complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable business insights.
• Bring together information from different sources to provide the GTI team and key stakeholders with a meaningful view of market dynamics.

Connect and empower our Market Companies

• Partner with Pernod Ricard Market Companies around the world to support the deployment and adoption of traceability tools.
• Train and support local teams, making intelligence tools accessible and encouraging the use of sightings and surveys.
• Build strong relationships across markets to better understand their realities, share knowledge and turn local observations into collective intelligence.

Strengthen our intelligence capabilities

• Identify opportunities to improve intelligence generation across areas such as operations and supply chain.
• Monitor emerging technologies and solutions related to product traceability and intelligence and assess their potential for Pernod Ricard.
• Conduct trader KYC (Know Your Customer) checks and ensure relevant intelligence and historical records are maintained.

Champion data quality and continuous improvement

• Take ownership of data quality, ensuring that the information underpinning our analysis is reliable and actionable.
• Manage the associated workflows in collaboration with external consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Continuously challenge and improve processes, tools and ways of working to make our intelligence simpler, smarter and more impactful.

What we are looking for

More than a technical expert, we are looking for someone who is curious, collaborative and eager to turn information into action.

You will bring

• A genuine passion for data, analytics and problem-solving.
• Proven experience in data analysis and modelling, with the ability to move from raw information to meaningful insights.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills.
• The ability to critically assess complex issues and communicate your conclusions in a simple and compelling way.
• A proactive mindset, with the autonomy to take ownership while knowing when to engage others.
• Strong collaboration skills and an appetite for working across functions, countries and cultures.
• Fluency in English.

It would be a plus if you have

• Experience with JDE, SQL or statistical modelling techniques.
• Additional experience with Business Intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of the wine & spirits / FMCG industry.
• Exposure to traceability, supply chain, compliance or trade intelligence topics.
