Assistant CoCoRum Manager

 

About the role:

CoCoRum is our pool and beach bar, a venue built around tropical and tiki-inspired drinks that combine local ingredients with Latin influences. As Assistant Manager, you will work together with the Bar Manager to oversee the bar, the pool and beach service, and the Recreation team, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless experience in line with our Benchmark standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will lead from the floor, supporting, guiding, and developing the team to deliver memorable guest experiences while upholding these standards on every shift. You will also ensure that all food, health, and safety regulations are followed, and you will drive upselling and profitability across the venue.

The position reports to the Bar Manager as well as Director of Restaurants and Bars.

 

What you will do:

• Oversee the daily operation of CoCoRum, including bar, service, and the Recreation team, together with the Bar Manager, leading from the floor and stepping in behind the bar or on service whenever needed
• Run engaging shift briefings covering specials, VIP guests, standards focus, and daily, weekly, and monthly goals
• Train and develop the team continuously, from daily micro-trainings to structured sessions on products, service sequence, and guest handling, while coaching and motivating them to upsell premium products
• Onboard new team members and mentor high performers, helping them grow into the next step of their careers
• Uphold Benchmark standards at all times through daily and weekly spot checks, giving one-on-one feedback to the team and keeping the venue always audit-ready
• Create memorable, personalized guest experiences, recognizing VIPs and returning guests and anticipating their needs
• Handle guest feedback and complaints with confidence, turning every situation into a positive experience
• Maintain strong product knowledge and ensure drinks, food, and presentation meet recipe and quality standards
• Control inventory, ordering, and wastage, while monitoring sales, cash handling, and POS accuracy to act on variances and spot commercial opportunities
• Support the Bar Manager with administration, including creating schedules and keeping accounting and HR records, such as holidays and overtime
• Contribute ideas for menus, promotions, and events that keep CoCoRum fresh and exciting
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety, and pool and beach safety, with strong knowledge of food allergies and intolerances and responsible alcohol service
• Solve problems quickly and calmly, adapting to weather, occupancy, and staffing changes, and collaborating closely with front office, kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments to keep service seamless

 

What you bring:

• Must have existing work authorization to work in the country of Thailand
• Proven experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge, hygiene standard, cost control, labour control, merchandising and accounting.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest service skills and a strong team player.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and systems.
• Warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers.
• Commitment to upholding Four Seasons Service and Culture standards.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to function effectively in an unsupervised environment.

Schedule & Hours:

• This is a full-time position
• The working hours will primarily be early morning, days and nights, during weekdays and weekends.
