There are few roles that give you the opportunity to build such meaningful relationships with patients while developing specialist expertise in a highly complex area of cancer care.
As an Associate Clinical Nurse Specialist within our HPB, Upper GI and Neuroendocrine Tumour (NET) service at The Christie Private Care, you'll become a key part of a multidisciplinary team supporting patients through every stage of their treatment journey. This is a role for a nurse who thrives on delivering personalised care, values continuity and wants to play a pivotal role in helping patients navigate what can be one of the most challenging times in their lives.

As an Associate Clinical Nurse Specialist, you'll be at the heart of the patient experience, providing expert support, guidance and coordination throughout treatment.
You'll:
- Act as a key point of contact for patients with HPB, Upper GI and NET cancers, providing clinical advice, support and symptom management
- Undertake holistic assessments and help coordinate care across complex treatment pathways
- Support patients and their families during outpatient clinics, ensuring they feel informed, reassured and supported throughout their journey
- Work closely with consultants, specialist nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Contribute to education, service development, audit and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and experience

You'll have:
- Current NMC registration
- Previous nursing experience within oncology, cancer services or a related specialty, although direct HPB, Upper GI or NET experience is not essential
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A patient-centred approach with the confidence to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- A commitment to continuous learning, professional development and evidence-based practice
