Emergency Nurse Manager (RN)

Nealy Pierce has been exclusively engaged to recruit a Emergency Nurse Manager (RN) for a full-time, permanent day-shift role in Eastern North Carolina. You’ll join a Leapfrog A Rated 200-bed nonprofit community hospital affiliated with a statewide health system and report to a collaborative nursing director.

What You’ll Lead

• Oversee daily ED operations and stay visible and accessible during high-volume shifts.

• Develop charge nurses and coach nurses at different stages of their careers.

• Build on the ED’s existing split-flow model and work with physicians and frontline staff to reduce delays and improve the patient experience.

• Strengthen onboarding and retention through consistent coaching and clear expectations.

What You’ll Bring

Active North Carolina RN licensure, at least three years of ED nursing experience, and at least one year of ED nursing leadership experience are required. A BSN is strongly preferred, and candidates pursuing one are welcome to apply. CEN certification is preferred.

Experienced ED charge nurses, clinical coordinators, supervisors, and assistant nurse managers ready for their first manager role are encouraged to apply.

Compensation & Relocation

Base salary up to $120K annually, depending on experience, plus an annual manager bonus of up to 10%. Relocation assistance is available.

Benefits include 30 days of PTO in your first year and medical, dental, and vision coverage. The hospital offers a 4% employer contribution to your 401(k) after six months and an additional employer contribution through a 457(b) plan after one year in management.
