• MTO Assembler (Day Shift)

Are you ready to take the next step in your career at Marvin? The MTO department is looking for Assemblers to join the team. This role will be involved in the entire window building process. MTO produces high profile windows which require highly skilled artisan work. If you take pride in your fine attention to detail, technical skills, and craftsmanship, you'll be a great fit for this team.

 

We recognize that it takes significant experience to achieve this higher level of skill and craft. That's why we're excited to share updated pay grading for the department. With this new change, you'll receive up to a 5% hourly wage increase when you interview for and accept a position on the team.

 

New Pay Grades:

• MTO Assembler I: PG 8
• MTO Assembler II: PG 9
• MTO Assembler III: PG 11

Highlights of your role

• Work with and care for all equipment in MTO department including building jigs and fixtures to help others build units successfully.
• Provide alternative solutions to building unique windows as needed.
• Work seamlessly with R&D, Special Project Staff, Architectural, and others to complete sophisticated window builds.
• Provide mentorship, training, and instruction to a team to expand abilities with MTO builds in a constantly evolving environment.
• Promote safe work habits and maintenance of good housekeeping at all times.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• A high school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of Marvin window and door platform
• Strong proficiency and skills in woodworking and ability to read window work orders and schematics to build product from prints
• Capability to work independently with attention to detail a focus to get things done according to quality guidelines
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly evolving priorities with passion – Drive for results
• Communication and teamwork skills, ability to work cross-functionally and train others in the DHPG

Compensation

$19.00 - $23.50 per hour
