As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a key role in providing compassionate, patient-centred care, supporting patients and their families while contributing to a safe, welcoming and supportive treatment environment.

More specifically, you will:

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care, including patient assessments, care planning, clinical observations and medication administration in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Provide education, emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
• Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with infection prevention, clinical safety and quality standards.
• Support and mentor junior nursing colleagues and students, sharing your knowledge and experience.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and evidence-based nursing practice to enhance patient care and outcomes.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Sound clinical nursing experience, with oncology experience highly regarded but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving and care coordination skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to patient safety, evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
