As the first face our clients see, you'll play a huge role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

From greeting clients and managing appointments to helping with memberships and retail, you'll be an essential part of keeping our salon running smoothly.

Drybar is a blow dry-only bar and our philosophy is simple. Focus on one thing and be the best at it. For us that’s blowouts. In fact, our tagline says it all: No cuts. No color. Just blowouts. We are looking for fantastic retail sales associates to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, and positive experience for every client from the moment they walk through the door

• Greet clients, manage check-ins and check-outs, and assist with appointments using Booker

• Answer phone calls, respond to voicemails, and assist clients with scheduling questions and service inquiries

• Manage client profiles, review appointment notes, and help provide a personalized experience for every guest

• Process payments, tips, and transactions accurately and professionally

• Confidently recommend and promote Drybar products, styling tools, memberships, and services

• Educate clients on membership benefits, promotions, and retail products

• Work closely with stylists and management to ensure smooth salon operations and a positive team environment

• Handle client questions, concerns, and feedback with patience, professionalism, and a solution-focused attitude

• Support daily opening and closing procedures to keep the salon running efficiently

• Bring positive energy, teamwork, and a can-do attitude to every shift!

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality with a passion for beauty and customer service

• Ability to thrive in a fun, energetic, and fast-paced salon environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude

• Strong multitasking and organizational skills while maintaining attention to detail

• Passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable client experiences

• Ability to think quickly, problem-solve, and handle challenging situations professionally

• Comfortable promoting memberships, retail products, and salon services

• Frequently required to stand and/or walk for duration of 6-8 hour long shifts
• Has the technical ability and skills to operate a point of sale system
• Problem solver – use logic and support resources to solve problems at the front desk
• Maintains professional demeanor under pressure
• Drybar follows all applicable federal, state and local laws regarding background checks
• 1+ years’ experience in a fast paced, customer service centric environment (sales associate, retail sales associate, customer service representative, store associate, salon associate, or a similar position)
• Previous salon/spa experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Track record in providing over-the-top, amazing customer service!
