Description
The Trainee Corporate Accountant will assist in internal and group accounting activities and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfils an exemplary role in promoting and applying the organisation's vision and values.
- Support the preparation, review and issuance of client invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing data.
- Assist in maintaining revenue-related records and ensuring appropriate mapping of transactions to general ledger accounts.
- Support reviews of fee schedules to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Help maintain and enhance the quality and integrity of financial and client master data.
- Assist in preparing daily accounting entries and performing regular account reconciliations.
- Assist in maintaining accurate electronic records and ensuring supporting documentation is appropriately organised.
- Execute ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Key requirements
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits and general ledger structure).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong orientation to accuracy with ability to spot inconsistencies.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work with large volumes of data.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Minimum Education, Qualifications and Working Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or similar.
- No work experience required.
Languages
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French and German is an advantage).
Computer Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
