Advanced Open Integrated Solutions (AOIS), a Strategic Business Unit within Raytheon, is seeking a Principal Finance Analyst to support the Advanced Open Integrated Solutions (AOIS) Product Line.

 

The Principal Finance Analyst will serve as a Finance Lead for a portfolio of cost-plus development and fixed-price production programs, as well as AOIS portfolio IRAD, Capital, and Inventory internal investment activities.

 

This position will support functions within AOIS, including Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing Operations. Some program responsibilities may be performed in an unclassified environment. A security clearance is required to support classified program activities and deliverables.

 

Responsibilities include cost and schedule control, monitoring program funding against spend plans, billings and cash receipts, establishing program baselines, and analyzing monthly program performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) and PMX. Financial deliverables include quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) development, variance analysis, forecasting, risk management, and internal and external financial reporting.

The position will also support proposal activities, including sole-source and competitive proposals, and provide guidance and training to junior financial analysts.

 

What You Will Do:

• Manage financial activities for a portfolio of programs with multiple contract types.
• Monitor program costs, schedules, funding, spend plans, billings, and cash receipts.
• Establish and maintain program financial baselines.
• Analyze monthly program performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) and PMX.
• Prepare quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecasts.
• Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis.
• Prepare financial forecasts and program financial reports.
• Monitor program risks and opportunities and incorporate financial impacts into forecasts.
• Prepare internal and external financial reporting.
• Support IRAD, Capital, and Inventory investment activities.
• Support sole-source and competitive proposal activities.
• Provide financial analysis and information to Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing Operations.
• Present financial information to program teams, management, and government customers.
• Provide guidance and training to junior financial analysts.
• Review and communicate financial information and analysis for management review.

 

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Experience with financial controls for multiple contract types.
• Experience with Raytheon Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Department of Defense (DoD) EVMS requirements.
• Experience using SAP transactions and PMX.
• Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, and program financial reporting.
• Experience presenting financial information to management, cross-functional organizations, or external customers.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Active Secret or Top Secret Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
• Experience using business information systems for financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience reviewing financial data for accuracy and completeness.
• Experience analyzing financial data and identifying variances.
• Experience analyzing financial information and developing recommendations based on financial results.
• Experience identifying and implementing financial reporting or analysis process improvements.
• Experience working independently to complete assigned financial activities within established deadlines.
• Experience planning and coordinating financial activities and deliverables.
• Experience providing guidance or training to financial analysts or other personnel.
• Experience managing employees.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for financial analysis, reporting, data analysis, and presentation of financial information.
• Experience preparing and presenting financial information to multiple levels of an organization.

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
