The Site Logistics Technician at Future Electronics is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling, storage, and movement of inventory within the company's site operations. This role ensures the timely receipt, dispatch, and internal transfer of goods, supporting overall supply chain effectiveness.

Day Shift: 8am - 5pm M - F

Pay Rate: $30

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily receiving activities, including unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, and identifying and reporting discrepancies.
• Accurately put away received inventory into designated warehouse locations, utilizing appropriate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Execute order picking and packing processes according to established procedures, ensuring correct product, quantity, and packaging for outbound shipments.
• Prepare and load outbound shipments, including labeling, staging, and coordinating with carriers.
  
• Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventory counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  
• Operate and maintain various material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Identify and report any issues or damage to inventory, equipment, or facilities.
  
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software for inventory transactions and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to resolve inventory-related issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 2+ years of proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role, preferably within an electronics distribution environment.
• Proficiency in operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) with valid certification preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and practices.
