Part-Time Park Workers
Gilchrist County is looking for motivated, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our Parks team. We have several part-time positions available and are looking for people who take pride in their work and are willing to help wherever needed.
Duties may include:
• Mowing, weed eating, and general grounds work
• Grounds, park, and facility maintenance
• Gatehouse operations and cashier/customer service
• Janitorial and facility cleaning
• Assisting park guests and providing friendly customer service
• Setting up and cleaning up for park activities and events
• Other duties as assigned
We’re looking for applicants who:
• Have a strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Are motivated and willing to work
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Are friendly and professional when working with the public
• Are willing and able to perform indoor and outdoor duties
• Can perform the physical duties associated with grounds and park maintenance
• Have flexible availability, as schedules may vary and include weekends and holidays
Position Information:
• Part-time positions
• Starting pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on position and experience
• Florida Retirement System (FRS) retirement benefits
• Successful completion of a background screening and drug test is required
