We are the largest provider of collaboration technology solutions, which include our award-winning managed services.

Our highly certified industry experts and innovation leaders share a vision to help people work smarter and live better. Our success starts with our people; and a workplace that champions culture and belonging ensures we grow and thrive together.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Software Developer, your primary responsibility is to design, develop, implement and support enterprise software solutions used throughout the AVI-SPL organization.  You will collaborate with product owners, software architects, data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into highly functional, reliable and scalable technical solutions. Development work may span custom applications, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure services, APIs, databases, web applications, integrations, and Power Platform solutions.  Candidates must have practical experience developing, configuring, integrating, or supporting solutions in an enterprise environment.  In addition to maintaining and enhancing existing applications, you will help modernize AVI-SPL's application portfolio by developing cloud-based solutions using Azure and established software engineering standards. The successful candidate will be comfortable learning new technologies, working across different areas of the application stack, and contributing wherever their software engineering skills can provide value.

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.
  • Additional platform development responsibilities:
    • Manage SharePoint Online site collections, hub sites, document libraries, and custom metadata content types.
    • Connect SharePoint environments with external databases and third-party tools via REST APIs and Microsoft Graph
    • Design and implement integrations between SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure, enterprise applications, databases, and third-party systems.
    • Create complex end-to-end workflows and approval processes leveraging Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Develop reusable components and services with an emphasis on maintainability, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineering, Data Engineering, DevOps, architecture, and other technical teams to follow enterprise development standards.
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, technical design discussions, and other engineering meetings.
  • Manage multiple development work items using Azure DevOps while working within established priorities and delivery timelines.
  • Create and maintain technical, solution, and appropriate end-user documentation.
  • Follow source control, branching, code review, CI/CD, and deployment practices established by the Software Engineering team.
  • Support applications through their complete lifecycle, including troubleshooting and production support when necessary.
  • Continuously improve technical skills, engineering practices, development quality, and delivery velocity.
  • Contribute as needed to other initiatives involving Azure, .NET, SharePoint, Power Platform, DevOps, data engineering, and other technologies
