Tempus' proprietary platform connects an entire ecosystem of real-world evidence to deliver real-time, actionable insights to physicians, providing critical information about the right treatments for the right patients, at the right time.

We are looking for an Operations Associate who will work with our cross-functional team to support the development and launch of new assays in our Genomics business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support multiple large-scale assay development and implementation projects simultaneously, closely tracking relative priorities and timelines for each to ensure key milestones are met.

  • Own and maintain meticulous project documentation, including project plans, testing plans, status reports, and meeting notes to ensure clarity and alignment across all teams.

  • Create and implement comprehensive end-to-end, scenario, and user acceptance test plans, coordinating with cross-functional groups (Lab Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and others) to ensure successful implementation of new or improved assays and workflows.

  • Track and report on project statuses, timelines, and risks to team leadership.

  • Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring dependencies are understood and project information is shared effectively.

  • Organize thorough hypercare plans to ensure the success of a product immediately following its implementation.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and workflows.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a project management, project coordination, or similar role.

  • Experience working as part of a larger, cross-functional team to support complex initiatives.

  • Proven track record of setting and achieving high personal standards of performance.

  • Exceptionally organized and systematic, with a superb attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and thorough documentation.

  • Persistent and resilient, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment while juggling multiple priorities.

  • Experience with product planning and/or user acceptance testing strongly preferred.

  • Superior interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

  • An appetite for success and a desire to contribute to continuous process improvement.
