We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Evening Cleaner to maintain a professional office environment in Oakville. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, follows cleaning procedures carefully, and can work independently during evening hours.
We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Evening Cleaner to maintain a professional office environment in Oakville. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, follows cleaning procedures carefully, and can work independently during evening hours.
Due to the nature of this site, successful candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and a credit check as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning of offices, common areas, entranceways, boardrooms, stairwells, and washrooms.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum all hard surface and carpeted flooring.
- Dust and wipe down desks, furniture, ledges, cabinets, windowsills, and other surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.
- Replenish washroom supplies, including soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Clean and sanitize kitchenettes, including countertops, sinks, microwaves, refrigerators, tables, and chairs.
- Wash, dry, and put away dishes as required.
- Spot clean glass, windows, doors, and walls as needed.
- Clean stairwells, including stairs, handrails, and ledges.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners.
- Complete scheduled weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and professional environment throughout the facility.
- Report any maintenance concerns or cleaning supply shortages to management.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed cleaning checklists.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check.
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
