Inside Sales Representative

Every day, the systems we install keep families safe, protect businesses, and bring help fast when it matters most. Security is one of the most exciting industries to be in right now, with smart homes, video, AI, and connected technology changing what's possible every day. Atronic Alarms is launching its first dedicated inside sales team, and we're looking for the person to start it.
This is a fast-paced role at the center of the action. You'll be the voice prospects hear when they're ready to protect their home or business, and the voice existing customers hear when they want to upgrade or are thinking about changing services. You'll help people make decisions that keep their family and their business safe, and help build a new department that will drive Atronic's growth. What You'll Do
- Turn inbound calls and web leads into appointments, booked directly with the right sales consultant
- Sell upgrades to existing customers over the phone
- Work to keep existing customers happy who are calling with problems or are moving out of their home or business
- Reach out to existing customers who could benefit from video, fire, or other upgrades
- Track every call and outcome, and work with sales, service, and administration across all five branches
Where This Role Can Take You
- Outside sales: learn our products and sales process from the inside, building the foundation for a field sales role.
- Leadership: as inside sales grows, the first person in the seat is the natural candidate to lead the team.
- Coaching: hands-on training and regular one-on-one coaching on calls and selling.
What You Bring
- Experience in phone sales, customer service, or another customer-facing role
- Strong listening skills and the curiosity to find what each prospect or existing customer needs
- A confident, friendly phone presence that stays positive with frustrated customers
- Organization and follow-through, and comfort learning new software
- Drive to grow your career and earn more as you perform
Experience in security, alarm, home services, or telecom is a plus.
The Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Pay: Hourly pay plus commission
- Reports to: Business Development Manager
