Job Description Summary:
At The Coca‑Cola Company, we refresh the world and make a difference through our brands, partnerships, and the relationships that connect people to the beverages they love. Walmart represents one of our most significant and dynamic retail partnerships—spanning stores, digital commerce, and evolving consumer engagement opportunities. The Senior Manager, Sales – Walmart drives growth across Coca‑Cola’s beverage portfolio by developing collaborative, data‑driven strategies that strengthen category performance both in-store and online.
This role combines customer leadership, insight application, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver omnichannel success across Walmart’s extensive retail ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in account management, e-commerce strategy, and joint business planning within consumer goods, translating insights into commercially executable plans. Working closely with merchants across beverage categories, Coca‑Cola brand leaders, and bottling partners, you will help shape the future of how our brands connect with shoppers wherever they choose to purchase.
What You’ll Do for Us
- Manage The Coca‑Cola Company’s beverage portfolio across Walmart’s Future Consumption, Immediate Consumption, and e-commerce segments, ensuring alignment and execution of growth plans.
- Develop and implement a shopper‑centric omnichannel strategy focused on winning the first moment of truth through optimized assortment, pricing, content, and digital engagement.
- Partner with Coca‑Cola cross‑functional teams—including Marketing, Supply Chain, Commercial, RGM, and Data & Analytics—to deliver unified solutions that enhance category performance and customer satisfaction.
- Execute the joint business plan in collaboration with Walmart buyers and Coca‑Cola system stakeholders, aligning priorities across merchandising, promotion, delivery, and fulfillment channels.
- Drive growth in existing brands and categories while accelerating penetration of new products, formats, and packaging offerings that meet consumer demands.
- Translate shopper insights, e-commerce trends, and price‑package planning into value propositions that expand category share and strengthen the Coca‑Cola partnership.
- Leverage advanced analytics and data storytelling to uncover opportunities for conversion, efficiency, and profitability across omnichannel touchpoints.
- Build trusted relationships with Walmart merchant teams and cross‑functional partners to drive mutual business value and influence decision-making.
- Identify productivity and supply chain optimization opportunities that deliver measurable improvements in speed, sustainability, and customer experience.
- Champion innovation, digital marketing activation, and development of new capabilities that advance our commercial strategy and system readiness.
- Lead organizational change through clear vision, collaborative execution, and insight‑based leadership, enabling the team to adapt to future business requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience; 7+ years preferred, ideally in consumer packaged goods or beverage industries.
- Proven success developing and executing joint business plans with large national retailers; experience with Walmart or similar customers a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of omnichannel strategies, including e-commerce, digital marketing, fulfillment, and the intersection between physical and digital retail.
- Ability to apply shopper insights and consumer data to shape commercial decisions and influence customer alignment.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting large data sets and making strategic recommendations for category growth.
- Demonstrated skill in influencing, negotiating, and executing customer programs across cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to both internal and customer executives.
- Commercial acumen in pricing, promotion, trade investment, and mix optimization to achieve profitability targets.
- Exceptional collaboration and relationship management skills across matrixed environments and systems.
- High digital and AI fluency; ease in leveraging analytics platforms and emerging technologies to improve planning and execution outcomes.
What We’ll Do for You
- Create a platform for leadership and partnership with one of Coca‑Cola’s largest and most strategic global customers.
