Our team delivers some of Avanade's most strategic and transformative client engagements, spanning Cloud PCs, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, endpoint security, device lifecycle management, automation, governance, and Microsoft 365 platform transformation. What you'll do

• Lead and/or support with the architecture, design and deployment of Cloud Endpoint solutions, including Microsoft Intune, Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, endpoint security, and device management capabilities.

• Define and implement modern endpoint strategies that improve user experience, security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with clients to assess, design and deliver cloud-based endpoint transformation programmes.

• Advise customers on Modern Management, Zero Trust, endpoint security, AI-ready device strategies, and workplace modernisation initiatives.

• Drive automation and operational excellence through scripting, AI-driven productivity and remediation, infrastructure as code, endpoint analytics, and device lifecycle optimisation

• Support cloud migrations and transformation projects involving Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows 11, Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Security solutions.

• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, technical communities and capability development across the Cloud Endpoint practice.

• Stay current with emerging Microsoft technologies and industry trends through Avanade's strategic partnership with Microsoft.

• Contribute to thought leadership, client innovation workshops, and technical forums to strengthen Avanade's position as a market leader in Cloud Endpoint and Modern Workplace services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale endpoint management, endpoint security, and cloud desktop solutions.

• Strong expertise across Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, Entra ID, Windows 11, Windows Autopilot, Configuration Manager, and Microsoft security services.

• Experience designing and implementing Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.

• Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture, Conditional Access, endpoint protection, compliance management, and identity security.

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation

• Familiarity with endpoint analytics, device lifecycle management, operating system deployment, application management, and endpoint governance.

• Experience with third-party cloud endpoint and digital employee experience tools such as Nerdio, Nexthink, Patch My PC, or similar platforms.

• Working knowledge of Citrix, VMware Horizon, or other virtual desktop technologies is advantageous.

• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, SC-300, AZ-140, MS-102 (SC-100 desirable for senior candidates), and/or equivalent certifications from Citrix, Omnissa (VMware Horizon), Nerdio, Jamf, or other enterprise endpoint and virtual desktop platforms

• Proven experience leading complex technical engagements and delivering successful business outcomes.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across endpoint, identity, security and cloud technologies.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and consulting skills.
