Our Healthy Planet Analyst is responsible for configuring, modifying, testing, and maintaining the healthy planet and Epic applications. In addition to coordinating all issues that arise during the project for the application area. Responsibilities will also include building collaborative relationships with project leadership, business owners, clinical department users, and other corporate departments to facilitate usage and acceptance of the system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the IT point of contact for the ACO/CIN and healthy planet application areas
  • Identify issues that arise in their application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and work to resolve them
  • Maintain Meaningful Use dashboards and MIPs measures for year-end reporting
  • Monitor and work with registries to ensure correct inclusion to the active registries
  • Develop the registries to support care gap closure, risk stratification, HEDIS measures, and other value-based initiatives as assigned by IT management.
  • Create and build campaigns in the Cheers application to increase population outreach
  • Direct ownership of tickets and incidents assigned to the healthy planet team as well as those related to healthy planet functionality such as health maintenance, registries, topics/plans, etc
  • Build and create reports based on metrics and registry data
  • Work with vendor representatives, organizations business community, and end users to ensure the system meets the organization’s business needs regarding the project deliverables and timeline.
  • Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization’s workflows by attending site visit and other integrated sessions
  • Participate in training and working with end users
  • Host weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones
  • Take ownership and lead projects involving multiple teams or team members
  • Perform and complete build tasks in more difficult application areas
  • Adhere to service level agreements in incident and task management
  • Attend and participate in workgroup and steering meetings
  • Prepare agendas and setup system demonstrations for stakeholders
  • Review and complete NoVA notes and upgrades within the project timelines
  • Maintain all applicable certifications and ensuring CEE’s are up to date
  • Translate operational requests into EMR build tasks

Qualifications:

 

The ideal candidate will have completed either a Bachelor’s degree in IT (or a related field) or an Associate’s degree in IT paired with 5+ years of healthcare experience, backed by at least 4 years of Epic analyst experience. You must possess required Epic certifications or accreditations in EpicCare Healthy Planet and Compass Rose, as well as the primary application for this position. This role requires an analyst who can also bring—or quickly acquire—additional expertise in preferred areas such as Value-Based Analytics, Outpatient Regulatory Reporting, Care Everywhere, Cheers + Campaigns, MyChart, Ambulatory, Care Link/Healthy Planet Link, Data Courier, or Security.
