SM-6 program is seeking a Material Program Manager to provide supporting-level supply chain program integration for recently awarded munitions acceleration contract. This role focuses primarily on program execution activities, including management of PR to PR placement actions, Monthly material sales tracking, forecasting and reporting, and supporting onsite supplier health assessments.


This position works within a comprehensive supply chain program management structure and collaborates closely with various functions to ensure execution of material strategies, alignment with procurement and operations teams for key early execution program milestones. The role is intended for an independent contributor who can drive daily execution while operating within established program direction.


In this role you will learn and further develop your experience of FAR based procurement process, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. 

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Manage execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy, including RFPs, Risk and Opportunities, EAC, IMS management, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution. 
  • Ownership of Material Forecast and identification of risks and opportunities. 
  • Manage material budgets and support EACs. 
  • Drive Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order placement/management. 
  • Participate in supplier engagements and review to ensure supplier performance. 
  • Monitor performance metrics and act to address program and functional issues. 
  • Implement key performance indicators internally and with our supply base to ensure timely delivery to customers and adherence to the plan. 

 

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience with Special Access Programs and Office 365 
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional working groups for mitigation planning 
  • Experience with monthly material forecasting, financial tracking, and proposal cost strategy 
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access prior to start date.

 

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with a combination of experience in Project, Program, Product, Finance or Supplier Management is required 
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management 
  • Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced environment of development

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
