Position Summary:
· Holy Cross Medical Group is seeking a full-time APRN / Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding Gastroenterology team in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
· Join an established, cohesive group of 6 physicians and 4 advanced practitioners that helps to provide care for GI and liver conditions for both inpatients and outpatients. The practice is busy but always remains focused on quality and compassionate care and performs a full range of endoscopic procedures and cancer screening, diagnostic testing, and therapeutic interventions
· Current locations at the Main Campus in Fort Lauderdale and Holy Cross Health Center in Deerfield Beach. Downtown Fort Lauderdale Center opening Summer 2027.
· Enjoy a team-based culture that provides excellent training and mentorship.
· Inpatient & Outpatient patient care responsibilities, seeing office patients in a standard daytime Monday-Friday schedule (8a-5p).
· The preferred candidate should be an experienced and licensed Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant. Recent graduates with interest in digestive diseases will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments including history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
Manage chronic conditions
Evaluate and triage new patient referrals and follow-up visits.
Order and interpret laboratory studies, diagnostic testing
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans with collaborating physicians
Provide patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and medication management
Assist with hospital rounding, consults, and discharge planning (if applicable)
Participate in care coordination with other providers and specialties.
Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the Electronic Medical Record
Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practice standards.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
National Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certification (APRN) OR national board certification as a Physician Assistant.
Current Physician Assistant or APRN license in the State of Florida.
Basic Life Support
Preferred Skills:
2+ years of clinical experience with an interest in gastrointestinal diseases
Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record
Bilingual in Russian a plus
