Fitness Club Concierge/ Child Care Specialist (Weekend Shift)

Job Description The Fitness Concierge is responsible for providing superior level customer service to our members, prospective members and guests. As a Fitness Concierge, you will demonstrate an aptitude and command of our company-wide policies and initiatives to ensure the integrity of our brand. The Concierge will ensure each member interaction is personalized guaranteeing the club provides the highest level of service.  In this role, you will additionally provide a safe, active, and welcoming environment for the children of our members while they utilize our fitness facilities. You will lead age-appropriate activities, maintain playroom safety, and deliver exceptional customer service to our fitness community.Responsibilities: Greet all members and guests with a smile and wish them well as they exit the clubCheck in all members and guests in accordance with company proceduresAnswer phones in courteous, helpful, professional mannerMaintain continuous visual supervision of children in the playroomFunction as an initial source of information regarding all services available within our club Exemplify a hospitality mindset to build relationships with members and guests, regularly creating extraordinary experiences Maintain updated knowledge to appropriately educate all members and guests of club programming, events, pricing, and policies Assist members with account maintenance, processing member needs, changes and transactions including program, service, and product payments Serve as point of contact for new member acquisition and member retention interactions Engage in problem solving and service recovery for member questions and concerns, utilizing appropriate tools and resources Attend staff meetings and other meetings as requiredFunction as a brand ambassador inside and outside of the gymMaintain an atmosphere which makes members feel welcomeMaintain a professional disposition at all timesSupport the service desks and gym floorCommunicate special events to members and guestsMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist in all projects as delegated by club managementOffer services direct to clients, partnering with all functional teams to deliver memorable experiences Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed. Support the childcare department as an attendant as needed.Regular, consistent cleaning and sanitizing of communal spaces and assigned areasQualifications:Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided) Basic computer proficiencyAbility to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.Able to work varied shifts, including days and eveningsPassion to serve others Effective communication skillsMust be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, and bend for the duration of a shiftMust enjoy working in a team environment6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferredMust be 18 years of age or older Minimum of 1–2 years of professional childcare experience (daycare, camp counseling, or structured youth programs preferred)
