Producer – Commercial Insurance Brokerage

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join a brokerage team as a Producer in Tampa. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate-level professional with 2-3 years of commercial insurance experience is ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have a background in wholesale insurance, though candidates with agency experience will also be considered. This role offers a structured training program, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to build your own book of business.

Compensation Package

• Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package
• Commission: Eligible for a commission structure upon completion of training

Responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive 6-month training program, including shadowing experienced producers and learning the workflow.
• Collaborate with the Tampa team, which includes 3 producers and 2 associates, in a non-competitive, team-oriented environment.
• Build and manage your own book of business after completing the training program.
• Work closely with support staff to handle pre-binding work efficiently.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional service to meet their commercial insurance needs.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in commercial insurance, preferably in a wholesale environment (agency experience will also be considered).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a desire to grow and succeed in a producer role.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to undergo a structured training program and adapt to a hybrid work schedule after training.
