Analyze technical challenges for enterprise clients, design practical cloud solution architectures, and validate cloud infrastructure designs. This role is responsible for leading implementation cost proposals to effectively support the sales team in closing deals and bridging the gap between complex cloud technologies and commercial solutions.Job Description
1. Pre-sales Engineering & Solution Design
- Provide professional services expertise and technical support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, focusing on building viable cloud solution architectures.
- Participate in client meetings to perform technical discovery, analyze infrastructure requirements, and design tailored cloud service solutions.
- Support the sales pipeline by creating architecture designs, technical tools, product demos, and competitive analysis.
2. Cost Proposal Creation & Validation
- Lead the development of technical service cost proposals and implementation plans, ensuring solutions are technically sound and commercially aligned.
- Evaluate cloud solution designs to ensure compliance with corporate standards, cloud security baselines, and governance frameworks.
3. Team Collaboration & Project Handoff
- Work closely with engineering, security, sales, and operations teams to ensure a smooth, well-documented handoff of projects from the pre-sales phase to the service delivery team.
- Gather technical feedback from clients to provide valuable input to the internal product team for continuous service improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 4–6+ years of proven experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Technical Solution Validation, or Technical Pre-sales.
- Technical Expertise:
- Solid practical understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure components, and networking.
- Strong exposure and technical knowledge of major hyperscalers: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Good understanding of cloud security standards and governance frameworks.
- Analytical & Commercial Capability: Ability to assess technical risks, design clear cost models, and effectively articulate value propositions to clients.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to explain technical subjects to both business stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams (Engineering, Security, Sales).
