Job Description
As an Account Supervisor, you will lead client businesses, inspire high-performing teams, and drive integrated marketing solutions that create meaningful business impact.
You will oversee multiple workstreams across FMCG, financial services, and airline clients while providing leadership to account teams and fostering collaboration across creative, strategy, media, and production disciplines.
This role is ideal for someone who is ready to move beyond project management and take ownership of team leadership, client growth, and the development of future talent.
Responsibilities
- Act as a senior client partner and strategic advisor across assigned accounts.
- Lead integrated communication projects and ensure excellence across all deliverables.
- Guide account teams in translating business challenges into effective marketing and creative solutions.
- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership teams.
- Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities and developing proactive recommendations.
- Oversee project scopes, budgets, profitability, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Provide leadership across multiple stakeholders, including local, regional, and global teams.
- Mentor, coach, and develop Account Executives and Account Managers, supporting their professional growth and performance.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
- Contribute to the broader success of the agency through leadership, operational excellence, and talent development.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in account management within an advertising, creative, media, or integrated agency.
- Proven success leading large-scale integrated campaigns and complex client businesses.
- Strong leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, or managing team members.
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen, including revenue management, profitability, and forecasting.
- Ability to inspire teams, influence stakeholders, and drive decisions.
- Experience working within regional and global organizations.
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English.
- A growth mindset, strong leadership presence, and passion for developing people while delivering outstanding client work.
- Demonstrates AI fluency, including the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance work quality and productivity, critically evaluate outputs, and apply ethical and responsible judgment in their use.
