This position reports into Senior Packaging Engineer and is based at Cheong Ju Plant.

Role reports to: Senior Packaging Engineer

Location: Cheong Ju Plant

 

What you will do

The Packaging Technician is responsible for designing and enhancing validation of package components and processes, compiling research on new package concepts, participating in process improvement teams, and recommending packaging methods and techniques to be used:

Key Responsibilities

·        Design and develop innovative packaging solutions that meet the specific requirements of the product

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging designs are both functional and visually appealing

·        Stay updated on industry trends and new packaging technologies to continuously improve packaging designs

·        Optimize packaging processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs

·        Collaborate with packaging design and process improvement teams to enhance validation of package components and packaging processes

·        Recommend innovative packaging methods and techniques to meet project variations

·        Utilize technical competency and diverse package engineering knowledge to generate creative packaging solutions

 

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

·        University/Bachelors Degree in Packaging Engineering or related field

·        0-2 years related experience in packaging engineering

·        Proven working experience in packaging design and process improvement

·        Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and regulations

·        Experience with packaging validation and testing

·        Knowledge of packaging technologies and materials

·        Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

 

Desired Qualifications

·        Proficiency in CAD software for packaging design

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
