Job Description:
A. Teaching & Learning
- Plan, prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, clinical demonstrations, and simulation-based learning.
- Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools in line with curriculum requirements.
- Supervise and assess student performance in both theory and clinical practice.
- Use innovative and evidence-based teaching methods to enhance learning engagement.
- Ensure alignment of teaching and assessment activities with accreditation and regulatory standards (e.g., MQA, Nursing Board Malaysia).
B. Clinical Supervision
- Guide and mentor students during clinical placements in hospitals, clinics, or community settings.
- Monitor students’ clinical competencies and maintain records of their progress.
- Liaise with clinical instructors and ward supervisors to ensure effective learning experiences.
C. Assessment & Evaluation
- Design, conduct, and evaluate formative and summative assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic and clinical performance.
- Participate in moderation, curriculum review, and examination board activities.
D. Research & Continuous Development
- Engage in scholarly activities, such as research, publications, or conferences, related to nursing education.
- Pursue continuous professional development to remain current in nursing practice and pedagogy.
- Contribute to institutional research and quality improvement initiatives.
E. Administration & Academic Support
- Participate in departmental meetings, student advisory sessions, and institutional events.
- Maintain accurate academic and attendance records of students.
- Support the programme in accreditation, audit, and curriculum development exercises.
Job Requirement:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with Post Basic
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) from the Nursing Board Malaysia.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
Knowledge and Experiences:
- 5 Years Experiences
