Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and maintenance of effective inventory control systems and participate in regular audits to verify accuracy and mitigate losses;
- Assist in coordinating with the Accounting team to ensure accurate inventory tracking, timely reporting, and adherence to budgetary guidelines
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within warehouse operations;
- Assist in planning and managing warehouse space utilization to maximize storage capacity and optimize workflow;
- Oversee and support the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technological tools to streamline operations effectively;
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with budget management, including cost control and preparation of financial reports;
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff; Develop work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels;
- Contribute to the preparation and presentation of regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehouse senior specialist role;
- A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred;
- Proven expertise in warehouse operations, ideally within the energy or manufacturing sectors;
- A strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software;
- Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to warehouse operations;
- Strong leadership and management skills;
- Forklift certification is preferred
