Description
The student, as part of the Power Electronics System Application Engineering team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will undertake projects working on Infineon's power semiconductors, reference designs and test systems.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Lab Testing: Test power semiconductor devices, evaluation boards, and systems in a laboratory environment.
- Prototype Construction: Build and assemble prototypes for experimental evaluation and validation.
- Simulation: Utilize various simulation tools to model and compare outcomes with experimental results.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret results obtained from experiments and simulations.
Internship Learning Outcome:
- Laboratory Techniques: Gain hands-on experience in laboratory testing techniques for power semiconductors and power electronics.
- Simulation Tools: Develop proficiency in using industry-relevant simulation tools and software.
- Data Analysis: Build skills in analyzing and interpreting experimental and simulation data.
- Research Methodology: Acquire foundational knowledge and practice in structured research methodologies.

- Education: Currently on track to attain a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
- Hands-On Aptitude: Comfortable and experienced working hands-on with equipment and tools.

- Research Mindset: Possesses a research-oriented mindset with curiosity and drive to explore technical challenges.
