Purpose

Professor Alexander Zhang is hiring a summer research assistant to help with research assistance on a legal history article.

Responsibilities

•  Identification, summarization, and commentary on assorted secondary and primary sources

•  Editing of a draft article

Required Qualifications

• Enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin as a law student

• Meet minimum eligibility requirements for student employment

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Ability to work in the summer

Salary Range

$19 per hour (1L, 2L)
$21 per hour (3L, LLM)

Working Conditions

• Typical office environment

• Repetitive use of a keyboard

• Work may be performed at the Law School or remotely at supervisor discretion

Work Shift

• Must be available to work 10 hours per week

•  Work can be completed independently on a schedule that the employee determines with oversight and direction regarding deadlines and deliverables
