At Roche you can show up as yourself, embraced for the unique qualities you bring. Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections,  where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

The Opportunity

As a Medical Affairs Operations Lead, you will be a strategic partner in the execution of global launch preparations and clinical adoption activities for our medical solutions. You will drive operational excellence by managing timelines, resources, and budgets for high-impact medical projects. This is an invitation to join a high-performing, agile environment where your project management expertise ensures our scientific innovations successfully reach the healthcare community.

  • Master Operational Delivery: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of medical affairs activities, from resource identification and scheduling to budget monitoring and delivery.

  • Drive Launch Excellence: Partner with cross-functional squads to provide agile facilitation support for the development of Integrated Evidence Plans and global launch strategies.

  • Elevate Medical Education: Lead the planning and execution of global medical education programs, webinars, and high-profile scientific events such as congresses and advisory boards.

  • Champion Strategic Communication: Manage the content for digital platforms, newsletters, and communication channels to ensure our medical insights are effectively disseminated.

  • Build Global Partnerships: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and vendors to ensure compliant and efficient handling of all medical affairs initiatives.

  • Navigate Compliance: Oversee the preparation and tracking of contracts and interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients, ensuring adherence to global quality and legal standards.

  • Inspire Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiencies by sharing best practices within your team, fostering a culture of knowledge exchange and lifelong learning.

Who You Are

You are a proactive and self-directed project management professional who thrives in fast-paced, matrixed environments. You bring a tactical and strategic mindset to complex operational challenges and are passionate about fostering a culture of belonging and high performance.

To be successful in this role, you bring:

  • Strong Educational Background: A degree or advanced degree (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) in Project Management, Business Administration, or Life Sciences.

  • Industry Experience: 3–5+ years of related experience within the diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology sectors.

  • Project Management Mastery: Proven expertise in project management and communication; a PMP certification or experience in agile methodologies is a strong advantage.

  • Strategic & Matrix Leadership: A track record of leading complex, cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes without direct authority.

  • Global Mindset: Excellent verbal and written English skills, with the ability to partner effectively across diverse regions, cultures, and time zones.

Let’s thrive together in a culture built on trust, collaboration, respect, and high performance.
