Your role at St John of God Langmore Hospital
You will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the clinical staff in relation to service delivery. Participation in the workplace team, contributing to effective and efficient service delivery, with a demonstrated commitment to the values and goals of the organization.
The Position
Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
Maintain an open communication with all members of the multi-disciplinary team
Computer skills in office packages
Attend and participate in departmental meetings as directed by the Coordinator or Service Manager of the department.
Abides by the SJGHC National policies for use of email and internet access.
Enters patient movements onto Patient Administration System - IBA.
Compiles admission packs and manages documents to be included in the patient medical record whilst file is on the unit.
Arranges patient appointments for external providers and services ie pathology,Co-ordinates the GP list
You will have previous clerical / reception experience in the hospital / health care environment and ability to work in an interactive environment as well as work with minimal supervision.
To succeed you will have demonstrated computer literacy with MS Office and relevant databases.
