Logistics Manager

You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the logistics and distribution operations, including inventory management, transportation, and warehouse activities. You will also have the opportunity to lead a team of talented professionals and drive continuous improvement in our operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness in our supply chain processes- Managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate and timely replenishment to meet customer demand- Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and transportation partners- Negotiating contracts and managing performance to achieve cost savings and service level targets- Overseeing all warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping- Leading a team of logistics and warehouse professionals, providing coaching and development opportunities- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies- Analyzing data and providing reports on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions To be successful in this role, you must have: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field- 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders- Proven experience in developing and implementing logistics strategies and driving process improvements- In-depth knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management best practices- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with supply chain management software- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment At Basingen Group Inc., we are committed to providing a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as a positive and inclusive work environment.
