The Nest Schools is an early education and preschool program with a network of schools across the United States, committed to creating a new standard of excellence for the future of early childhood education. We are seeking someone passionate about early childhood education who can provide excellent customer service to families interested in our program. 

This is a hybrid role that reports to the VP of New Customer Experience and partners closely with the Regional Director.  

  • 60% Family Resource Center — handling inquiries by phone, answering questions, scheduling tours, and supporting the enrollment process  
  • 40% In an assigned market — visiting schools in person, supporting tours, training school teams, and being the face-to-face extension of the Family Resource Center 

 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions – Family Resource Center (≈60%) 

 

  • Field parent and family inquiries by phone, providing accurate, tailored information about our schools (hours, locations, philosophy, program offerings)  
  • Guide families through scheduling tours and the registration/enrollment process  
  • Proactively identify enrollment opportunities  
  • Review and maintain CRM (IntelliKid Systems) accounts, keeping up with action items  
  • Complete weekly and monthly reporting  
  • Collaborate with marketing on enrollment campaigns  
  • Collaborate with other family resource professionals to improve customer service  
  • Assist with training 

 

Essential Functions – Assigned Market (≈40%) 

  • Work on-site across schools within an assigned market on a set weekly schedule on identified focus schools and enrollment priorities  
  • Travel between schools as needed to provide in-person support where enrollment activity or need is greatest; travel outside the region upon request and approval  
  • Serve as the in-person extension of the Family Resource Center, answering family questions and conducting tours directly for walk-ins, coverage gaps, or peak periods  
  • Support tour training for school directors and teams, reinforcing consistent messaging and standards 
  • Guide families through the on-site portion of enrollment 
  • Support local enrollment campaigns and community outreach with school directors and marketing 
  • Welcome newly enrolled families and support their transition from inquiry to enrollment  
  • Relay market and school-level feedback back to the Family Resource Center team 

 

Job Specifics 

  • Full-time, M-F and some weekends as needed during busy enrollment seasons and school events 
  • Hybrid – approximately 60% Family Resource Center (remote/phone) and 40% on-site across schools within an assigned market, with potential travel as needed 
  • Experience in Childcare REQUIRED 
  • Candidates must live within or near their assigned market 
  • Candidates in the states in which we operate will be considered first (CO or IN)

Qualifications

Additional Knowledge 

Knowledge and understanding of, and willingness to learn: 

  • Location's classroom availability 
  • Developmentally appropriate practices in an Early Childhood Education setting 
  • What to look for when choosing a high-quality education setting 
  • General knowledge of state licensing and local requirements programs must adhere to 
  • Basic skills in de-escalating situations involving dissatisfied families and recognizing situations which should be referred to another department lead for follow up

Preferred Skills 

 

  • Ability to speak Spanish preferred, but not required 
  • Familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems 
  • Prior experience working in a CRM system  

 

 

Qualifications and Education 

  • CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree with 1-5 years' experience working in a childcare setting as a building administrator and/or classroom teacher preferred 

Pay Range

USD $50,000.00 - USD $65,000.00 /Yr.
