Mission Overview:
Keystone Solutions is seeking a Data and Analytics Manager for a consultancy mission at a client site. In this role, you will develop and manage databases, ICT applications, and data flows in collaboration with internal and external partners to meet user needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage databases:
- Create technical specifications for database development to present to potential suppliers.
- Develop and program the common database with an external partner and write procedures for data entry and usage.
- Test the programmed database in consultation with users, analyze test results, and propose necessary changes to the external partner.
- Organize meetings with involved partners or organizations regarding the development and status of the common database.
- Ensure follow-up on project decisions in collaboration with involved partners and communicate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Prepare the implementation of the common database and provide training to key users.
- Investigate operational issues within organizations or funds related to data, contact involved parties, and seek potential IT solutions.
- Analyze user inquiries, develop or adjust individual databases, and work out proposals to meet their needs.
- Investigate user needs, analyze current applications, and propose improvements.
- Support users in maintaining individual databases or creating/modifying new applications.
- Manage the common database:
- Oversee users, data structure, and access rights to the common database.
- Ensure configuration and backup of the common database and maintain system security.
- Develop reports:
- Create reports to share data insightfully with users for interpretation and use.
- Verify the accuracy of data from annual accounts and subsidy files.
- Make comparisons between data from different sources.
- Participate in working groups and meetings within the organization.
Criteria:
- Knowledge and Complexity:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 3 years of work experience.
- Thorough knowledge of IT, software/database development.
- Strong understanding of common and company-specific software.
- In-depth knowledge of BI tools.
- Ability to plan and organize.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze and resolve user issues with databases and formulate improvement proposals.
- Ability to develop, program, and manage user-friendly and accurate databases based on information from various streams.
- Independence:
- Ability to independently manage data flows.
- Adhere to GDPR guidelines and internal agreements and procedures.
- Consult with supervisors or project leaders when in doubt, facing issues, or making budgetary decisions.
- Communication:
- Daily contact with users regarding database usage.
- Daily contact with ICT colleagues regarding daily tasks.
- Ad hoc contact with other staff regarding internal working groups.
- Daily contact with external developers for information and feedback.
- Monthly contact with partners regarding data and issues.
