This role will join the truly global Workplace Services Procurement team, reporting to the Sourcing Director located in the United Kingdom. The team consists of 5 high performing professionals managing all aspects of Workplace Services Sourcing globally. This role will primarily provide India Sourcing support plus additional countries across APAC with the opportunity to be involved in Global engagements with stakeholders worldwide on strategic vendor relationships within the Workplace Services Category.

Success in this role hinges on building strong stakeholder relationships, delivering measurable cost savings, and driving compliance to sourcing policies. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with country, regional and potentially global business stakeholders to drive strategies, spend optimization, and enhance supplier performance. Your success will be measured on an annual saving plan, innovation, communication, proactivity as well as feedback from your key business stakeholders.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing the Workplace services sourcing strategy for your assigned countries/regions

  • Leading RFP; defining sourcing strategy for engagements; developing sourcing engagement communication plans; Drive commercial and contractual negotiation; execute end to end sourcing activities & aligning with stakeholders on supplier selection

  • Executing sourcing engagements, while balancing service levels, cost and compliance.

  • Conducting supply market analysis, cost modelling and bench - marking.

  • Lead relationship management with your suppliers as well as internal stakeholders for your assigned countries/categoriesc.

  • Leads or participates in cross-functional teams to develop requirements and strategy to identify suppliers, establish service level agreements and key performance indicator requirements, and monitors performance consistent with established goals and performance measures.

  • Managing contract review/renewal process, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on plans.

  • Negotiating favorable contract terms, conditions and price for Agilent.

  • Reviewing purchase requisitions for compliance and approval

  • Reviewing supplier adds, and complete analysis/compliance in preparation for approval.

  • Providing efficient and consistent communication to stakeholders on the progress of sourcing engagements.

  • Adhering to Global Sourcing indirect policies, processes and procedures to ensure compliance.

  • Building business relationships/trust with key stakeholders

  • Ability to work within a truly global, multi-cultural environment adapting style to support.

  • Proactively identifying savings opportunities and influencing stakeholders to buy into these solutions through robust analysis and ROI.

  • Presenting results, findings to executive management in a concise and effective manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.

  • Post-graduate, certification and/or license may be required.

  • Proficiency in Indian, English language is a must.

  • Typically, 5-10 years relevant sourcing experience working in a multinational; multi-cultural environment

  • Knowledge across India, key Asia Pacific markets for Workplace Services spend – Facilities Management, CAPEX Projects, Fleet, Security, Utilities, Catering etc.

  • Prior experience in leading complex RFP’s and negotiation skills are core to this position.

  • Ability to clearly articulate strategy and gain alignment with senior management is critical for this position.

  • Concise communication style, being proficient in simplifying/summarizing key messaging for executive consumption would be a considerable advantage.

  • Person needs to be self-starter & ability to work with minimal supervision.
