Commercial Service Plumbing Technician

We are looking for a Commercial Service Plumbing Technician, who is looking for an exciting career with an industry leader that has been in the business since 1929.

The service territory will primarily be based around our Bensalem, PA location.

The Commercial Service Plumbing Technician will work with numerous system parts and mechanisms to maintain, diagnose and correct plumbing system problems. This includes replacing parts and adjusting controls for better performance.  Equipment and systems will be commercial, as well as residential equipment in a commercial setting.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR THE JOB:

• Troubleshoot drains and water lines that are not working and replace parts that are defective
• Install/replace sinks, toilets, appliances and all related lines.  Including electric for appliances
• Understanding and troubleshooting knowledge of the following: 
  • -Water heaters 
  • -Water filters 
  • -Disposals 
  • -Sewer lines; including use of cameras, locators and sewer machines 
  • -Pumps; including circulators, ejectors, & constant pressure 
  • -Mixing Valves 
  • -Heat Exchangers 
• Measure, cut, thread and solder pipes and fittings 
• Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs and expectations
• Be accurate and timely with service orders, timecards and related paperwork 
• Member of an on-call plumbing rotation 
• Performs related work as assigned 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Minimum 3 yrs. experience specific to the commercial plumbing industry 
• Knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools and equipment of the trade 
• Knowledge of basic electricity and other electrical safety 
• Ability to read, understand and work from specifications and drawings. 
• Sewer jetting/ excavation experience
