Job Summary Team Lead
As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating and setting up various CNC and non-CNC production machinery, conducting manual assembly tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties Team Lead
- Be a technical resource for operators.
- Train and develop less experienced operators with the help of the Value Stream Manager (VSM.
- Complete work order paperwork and maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Operate machines like saws, winders, manual mills, lathes, routers, and more.
- Conduct in-process inspections according to standard procedures.
Requirements
Required
- A technical degree and 2+ years of experience preferred, or a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Intermediate math skills & aptitude.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand drawing and blueprints.
- Ability to use measuring instruments accurately and effectively.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Preferred
- Prior experience in a manufacturing industry
Work Environment Team Lead
- This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
