Description
Role expectations
- Brand stewardship and Mkt fundamentals: owns Ortho channel positioning, identity, insights and messaging architecture.
- Campaign development: leads the development of integrated campaigns (concept, creative, production and measurement) for doctors´ acquisition, engagement and utilization.
- Marcoms and content: owns Global communication across owned, earned and paid channels, including social media, digital, events and congresses.
- Market insight translation: converts market trends, competitive moves, CS insights and customer research into language and propositions that leverages the ADW.
- Ortho segmentation and profiling definition to improve conversion.
- Agency and budget management.
- Partnering closely with cross‑functional global teams, including Clinical Education, Commercial Excellence, Analytics, Product Marketing, and Regional Marketing, you will translate deep Ortho insights into a compelling, differentiated Align value proposition. Your work will directly support growth ambitions across the Ortho channel ensuring long‑term engagement with Align solutions.
- Location: This role can be based in San Jose CA, LATAM (São Paulo – Brazil) or any European offices.
What we're looking for
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in global or regional marketing roles, preferably within medical devices, healthcare, dental, or life‑science industries.
- Customer insight & strategy: Demonstrated experience building customer segmentations, translating insights into value propositions, and driving go‑to‑market strategies.
- Campaign leadership: Proven ability to design and scale global marketing or recruitment campaigns with regional execution.
- Cross‑functional collaboration: Strong track record of partnering with commercial, clinical, analytics, and regional teams in complex global organizations.
- Analytical mindset: Comfort working with data and insights to inform decisions, optimize journeys, and measure impact.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align diverse teams.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently while thriving in highly collaborative, matrixed environments.
- Experience with healthcare or professional audience marketing.
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping, onboarding optimization, and lifecycle marketing concepts.
- Comfort working across regions and cultures in a global role.
- Fluency in English required.

- Employee Stock Purchase Program (Employees must work 20 hours or more and be employed on purchase date to be eligible).
- Paid vacation of up to 17 days during the first full year of employment (currently accrued at the rate of 5.24 hours each pay-period), which carries over to a maximum cap of 30 days. Annual paid vacation time accrual increases based on tenure. Both exempt and non-exempt employees who work 32 hours or more per week receive prorated vacation accrual based on their regularly scheduled work hours and tenure.
- Sick time is accrued throughout the year at the rate of one hour for every thirty worked. Employees can carry over unused sick leave each year, up to a maximum balance of 80 hours.
- 11 Company-designated paid holidays throughout the year.
- If employed for at least 12 consecutive months, Align will grant up to 6 weeks of paid Parental Leave. If employed for less than 12 consecutive months, Align will grant up to 4 weeks of paid Parental Leave. All parental leave must be completed within one year of the birth or placement of the child. Parental leave is in addition to any state and/or local parental leave benefits. Three days of paid bereavement leave. In some cases, due to travel the amount of paid leave may be extended to 5 paid days off. To the extent applicable state or local law offers more generous benefits, Align complies with any such law.
- Non-exempt employees will receive full pay for up to 10 days of jury duty. Exempt employees will receive their full salary during any week they serve and perform any work. Other insurance such as legal, critical illness, voluntary accident, long-term care, auto, home and pet insurance are available for purchase.
