The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is seeking new members on our Solutions team aligned to out Alternative Investment clients and client services. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will support our existing clients, operational service teams, and new business development to deliver customized and standard solutions.
What you will do:
Direct new solutions onboarding including estimation, approach/design, systems configuration, reporting, data conversion, and automations.
Responsible for translating requirements into documented technical specifications and managing the overall custom reporting and file extract projects.
Develop comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) test cases at the application and multi-application levels
Overseeing the implementation of approved process improvements.
Assess, analyze client customized requests and solutions.
Collaborate with developers, quality assurance tests, fund accountants, investor services associates, relationship managers and external stakeholders in the design, delivery, maintenance of the solutions.
What we need from you:
BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business or applicable experience.
A minimum of 8 years of business analyst experience with building reports, ETL, SQL, and other product development areas within the Alternatives industry.
In depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), analytical expertise, and familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum.
Ability to break down sophisticated data and operational problems and communicate to product development
FinTech experience with Alternative funds that supported operations, reporting, and allocations.
Proficiency with data analysis tools including databases, SQL, etc.
Proficiency in program management tools and software, such as JIRA and Confluence.
